With UpskillOpMaat, we are accelerating the introduction of Industry 4.0 technologies in Flemish social enterprises (customised companies).
The project tackles three major challenges:

  1. Ensuring quality;
  2. Retraining employees; and
  3. Promoting digitisation.

By developing tailor-made solutions for these organisations and their employees, we strengthen their competitiveness in a rapidly changing, globalised market.

Project goals

UpskillOpMaat develops concrete technologies and methods to support social enterprises in their digital transformation. The main objectives are:

  • Developing user-friendly tools to configure Industry 4.0 technologies without the need for expert knowledge.
  • Creating training modules for employees and coaches so that they can use new technologies efficiently.
  • Giving practical demonstrations of Industry 4.0 solutions that are tailored to the needs of social enterprises.
  • Building an ecosystem of companies, technology providers and service providers to scale up and embed these solutions.
