Digital skills for employees
Duration: 1/1/2023 - 31/12/2025
Together with the project partners, we work on the development of digital skills of employees in industry.
About Reboot Skills
New technologies are rapidly changing how we understand and apply digital skills. Across Europe, the gap is widening between what companies need and the available talent in advanced digital technologies.
The Digital Europe-programma aims to close this gap through strategic projects that strengthen digital competences, foster collaboration between education, research, and industry, and attract top digital talent across Europe.
Project goals
The goal of REBOOT SKILLS is to provide workers currently employed in the manufacturing sector — or those aspiring to join it — with access to advanced digital upskilling opportunities. These programmes help them keep pace with the latest developments in cybersecurity, robotics, artificial intelligence (AI) and the industrial Internet of Things (IoT).
The specific objectives of the project are to:
- Create a sustainable and collaborative training offer that addresses the digitalisation needs of SMEs active in key capability areas.
- Provide owners, managers, and employees of SMEs with easier access to high-quality digital training that can be followed flexibly and at various locations.
- Increase the number of people capable of designing, developing, and applying digital solutions within the manufacturing industry.
