Faster AI development using Simulation for Robotics & Localisation
Artificial intelligence for robotics and machine vision often requires large amounts of training data. Simulation and synthetic data offer an efficient way to develop, test and validate AI models more quickly.
A wide range of industrial applications will be covered. These include computer vision challenges, such as object detection, localisation and quality inspection, as well as robotics, where robots learn to handle complex tasks via a simulated environment. Through concrete practical examples and demonstrations, you will gain a clear picture of the possibilities, challenges and impact of these technologies.
Key technologies covered include NVIDIA Isaac Sim and UNITY – leading platforms for robotics and AI simulation. During a hands-on session, you’ll get to work yourself: starting with a CAD model of an industrial component, you’ll generate synthetic datasets with all the necessary annotations to train a vision AI model, for example for pick-and-place applications.
In short: discover how virtual environments can accelerate the development of AI solutions and reduce reliance on large amounts of real-world training data.
