Topic van de workshop
In deze workshop, die georganiseerd wordt door imec en Flanders Make, zullen we het potentieel van de huidige slimme radars voor geavanceerde RF sensing toepassingen toelichten en demonstreren.
Door de verschuiving naar hogere frequenties (60 GHz en hoger) en de integratie van meerdere antennes, bieden de huidige radars een hoge resolutie voor bereik, hoekpositie en snelheid.
Krachtige AI-algoritmen maken ongekende mogelijkheden mogelijk voor detectie en classificatie van (menselijke) bewegingen en gedrag, en voor bewaking van vitale functies. Bovendien doen radarsensoren dit op een contactloze en privacy-beschermende manier.
Experts uit de academische wereld zullen de state-of-the-art in radarsensortechnologie presenteren en de uitdagingen en kansen voor de toekomst bespreken.
Sprekers uit de industrie zullen inzoomen op de mogelijkheden en uitdagingen die deze innovatieve radars bieden voor hun toepassingen, zoals industriële automatisering, automotive, gezondheidszorg, enz.
Verschillende innovatieve technologieën en oplossingen zullen worden voorgesteld tijdens een begeleide demo tour.
We sluiten de workshop af met een plenaire vraag- en antwoordsessie.
Deelname staat open voor alle technologieliefhebbers die de technologie achter radardetectie en de mogelijke toepassingen ervan willen begrijpen.
