Human capital support, digital transformation for process optimisation, condition-based maintenance
With the support from

Supporting human capital for enterprises in digital transformation through implementation of data-driven digital technologies embodied in Industry 4.0 living labs
The use of sensors in existing and new products and production processes makes it possible to optimise the use of these products in terms of energy efficiency, life span, productivity, etc. This digitalisation requires extra skills from employees, which can be honed by following the correct training.
Project goals
The aim of this project is to combine the expertise of Flanders Make, KU Leuven Campus Bruges and BEMAS for the development of a broadly applicable guidance path to support companies and employees in expanding the competencies available to deal with this digitisation of products and processes.
Experience centres based on the Living Lab projects Machine Upgrading 4.0 and Smart Maintenance will be used to introduce employees to this digitisation and the required competences, in order to make a correct mapping between the required competences and the available training courses.
