Hands-on demonstrations, application of digital work instructions
Supporting your operators during their production activities can be done in various ways. With digital work instructions (DWIs), for example! With DWIs, you can offer work tailored to your operators, reduce training times, improve quality and increase your production speed.
We have done research on DWIs and have developed tools that make working with DWIs easier. During our workshop you will create:
- Semi-automatic DWIs from CAD;
- Instructions from MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, ...) to a DWI platform.
In addition, you can experiment with:
- Digital work instructions via Augmented Reality (with Hololens);
- Co-assembly work instructions (operator-cobot interaction);
- Augmented Reality glasses (testing & comparing different models).
This way you can experience hands-on what it is like to create, use and maintain digital work instructions in a production context. You will discover the advantages and disadvantages of DWI's at first hand and will be able to better assess how to apply DWI's in your own production.
