This is a collaborative initiative brought to you by the Clean Mobility Valley and the CYPRESS project consortium.

About the CYPRESS Interreg Meuse-Rhine Project:

CYPRESS – or Circular Production of Electric Vehicles - strives to position the Meuse-Rhine region as a leader in sustainable and circular production for climate-neutral electric mobility technologies. Recognizing the automotive industry's significant role in the local economy, the project emphasizes the importance of adopting circular production methods to capitalize on economic opportunities and retain innovative capabilities within the region.Under the lead of Flanders Make and with partners AMAC GmbH, TechniFutur, RAI Automotive Industry NL, Université de Liège, Werecircle cv, ITA Technologietransfer GmbH and Chemelot Innovation and Learning Labs, we support regional enterprises technically and financially to realize innovative and highly-circular pilot production lines for electric vehicle systems.

Key goals include:

- Encouraging transportation SMEs and larger enterprises to transition to a fully circular lifecycle in their production processes, thereby reducing carbon footprint and becoming less dependent on raw materials.

- Establishing a robust local network for circular innovation to enhance ecological sustainability while ensuring the longevity of the regional production industry.

The CYPRESS project is supported by the European Union and the Interreg Meuse-Rhine (NL-BE-DE) programme. Visit www.interreg-cypress.eu for more information.

About the Clean Mobility Valley:

In the quest for climate neutrality, the transportation and mobility sector is undergoing significant transformation. The emergence of electric, autonomous, and connected vehicles presents both challenges and opportunities for innovation. To facilitate this transition, POM Limburg, along with Flanders Make, Ford Lommel Proving Ground, E-Trucks Europe, and the City of Lommel, launched the Clean Mobility Valley initiative. This initiative is supported by the Provincie Limburg.

This initiative focuses on three strategic pillars:

1. Strengthening R&D Capacity: Enhancing collaboration among research centers and companies to support sustainable vehicle development through shared expertise and infrastructure.

2. Developing Community: Fostering a vibrant transportation and mobility community to drive knowledge exchange and initiate innovation projects for future challenges.

3. Establishment & Acquisition: Connecting local and international companies with the Clean Mobility Valley ecosystem, supported by a specialized team for guidance on production and R&D location.
