How to use OptiSeats

OptiSeats automatically calculates safe seating distance

It is often difficult to estimate how to arrange a room correctly for a given number of guests, taking into account the one-half-metre-rule. That is why we developed OptiSeats, an online tool that calculates for you how best to arrange your chairs and any tables to make optimal use of any indoor or outdoor space. All you have to do is fill in how many guests you want to receive, how many people can sit together per "bubble" and what your space and furniture look like.

How to use OptiSeats?

To introduce the tool, we will organise two identical 30-minute sessions on 17 May. During these interactive sessions, project leader Emma Claeys will demonstrate the tool and there will be room for questions. Of course you can get started with OptiSeats afterwards!

  • The first session takes place on May 17, from 09h00 until 09h30.
  • The second session takes place on May 17, from 12h30 until 13u00.

Both sessions as well as the online tool are free of charge.

For whom?

With the tool and these sessions we are primarily aiming at sectors such as hospitality, events, schools, hospitals and business, but of course people from other sectors are also welcome.
