Flanders Make is joining Nerdland Festival once again
We are once again participating in the Nerdland festival. You might know Nerdland from their podcast, books or shows. Now the team of Lieven Scheire and Hetty Helsmoortel have organised the Nerdland festival once again.
Nerdland festival is Belgium's biggest open-air science festival. The place to be for nerds, geeks and all their (possibly less geeky) friends and family members. Think a terrain full of interesting organisations, even more atmosphere and huge amounts of science. Off the cuff, but in a scientifically responsible way. For everyone.
Together with the other Strategic Research Centres, we will be in the stand around "Invisible but Indispensable", where we will show how scientific research goes on at our place. Specifically, the SOCs will zoom in on A.I., space and microscopy. We'll be bringing two robots with us, one that shows off A.I. in a game of Connect 4 and one that handles the automation of signing books for Lieven and Hetty.
