Advanced Robotics Workshop: Localization Techniques
Event address
Dive deep into the world of robotics localization in this comprehensive day-long workshop designed for professionals with an engineering background. This workshop day provides three sucessive workshops focusing on advanced localization strategies. Subjects that are covered are:
- Localization with SLAM & Kalman Filtering
Theoretical foundation and advanced concepts in robot localization using SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) techniques paired with Kalman filtering to achieve real-time positioning and mapping.
- Hands-On SLAM with ROS
Engage in practical exercises within a simulated environment to implement the theories discussed and gain firsthand experience in robot simulation using (Robot Operating System), the leading framework for robot software development.
- Fine-Tuning Position Accuracy
Learn specialized methods for calibrating Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR) to enhance precision in tasks such as precision picking. This session focuses on practical calibration techniques that improve the accuracy and efficiency of robots in industrial applications.
Who Should Enroll: This workshop is ideal for engineers and robotics professionals seeking to enhance their expertise in robotic localization techniques. A background in engineering is required to fully benefit from the advanced content covered in this workshop.
