Flanders Make Seminar: technological research for the manufacturing industry

You will most probably know already that Flanders Make performs technological research. But how does this research contribute to progress within companies? And even more important: what can our technological developments mean for you?

9:00 to 12:30 - Presentation research results and company cases

We present within four major themes – which not coincidentally match our four competence clusters – concrete research results and their industrial applications. The companies involved will – based on concrete cases – witness how these technological developments were created, how they are being applied and which developments are still being worked on.

The four themes will be discussed in parallel sessions. Click on the different domains for the matching programme.

12:30 to 14:00 Network lunch

Following the session, we will organise a network lunch during which you can meet researchers, engineers and R&D-managers of other technology-leading companies.

Register here for the morning programme. The price for the half-day seminar amounts to 95 € for Flanders Make members and 195 € for non-members.

13:30 to 14:00 - Presentation roadmaps

For our cluster consortium members, our CTO will shortly introduce the roadmaps of Flanders Make, before we go to our afternoon sessions.

14:00 to 17:30 Cluster Consortium Meeting

The afternoon programme is solely open to cluster consortium members. In this session, we will present ideas for new SBO-(Strategisch Basisonderzoek or Strategic Basis Research) and infrastructure projects and sketch a blueprint of the cluster roadmap. This is the perfect moment to come up with new proposals.

Are you part of a cluster? If so, joining the morning programme, including lunch, is free of cost for you and for your colleagues. The presentations of the morning session will provide you with the necessary tools to raise the activities within the cluster consortium, together with us, to a higher level and to define new projects.
