The TeTra project "ReDeJoin"

Flanders Make corelab ProductionS is looking for industrial partners that want to join the Flemish TeTra project “ReDeJoin” (full title: Repairable, Detachable Joining Technologies).  This project wants to support manufacturing companies (construction, machines, …) with the repair or recycling of their multi-material products. Available methods and technologies will be screened for identification and validation of (hybrid) structural joints before and after repair/revision.  Furthermore, guidelines will be made for disassembly and re-assembly/repair of joints.  Best practices will then be implemented in a set of relevant validation cases as well as integrated in an online software tool.

We are looking for companies that

  • Manufacture or assemble multi-material applications
  • Repair multi-material applications
  • Disassemble and/or recycle multi-material applications
  • Supply a certain joint technology

As part of the user group, we would ask you to attend four project steering group meetings in the course of two years.  Also, a limited financial contribution is expected.  In return, you get the opportunity to give input in the definition of the use cases, and you have first access in the developed methodologies and tools.  Moreover, you will be able to have regular networking opportunities with other companies in the user group.
